Children’s Book Reading & Craft Activity (Ages 5 & up)
by Patricia Perrin, author and illustrator of The Special Beat of Ordinary Feet
Friday, April 25, 2014, from 10:00-11:00 am


Story reading by the author and illustrator: Duck, Squirrel and Rabbit have a puzzling question about why their feet are different. Travel with these animals on their adventure to find the answer to their question. By working as a team, they overcome various obstacles and discover that their differences make each of them very special.Foot Craft Sample

After talking about the animals’ talents, we’ll talk about your unique talents. What is your special talent: making people smile? running? gymnastics? doing yoga? reading? blowing bubbles? helping your parents?

And finally, you will craft a collage of your special feet!
