Award-winning artist Gregory Maichack will present an engaging pastel workshop at the Hanson Public Library on Saturday, February 3rd from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. This hands-on pastel painting workshop is designed for adults from beginners to accomplished artists.
Under the guidance of Maichack, participants will create their own pastel painting of Georgia O’Keeffe’s elegant Jimson Weed/White Flower No.1, a painting that sold for just short of $45 million. Maichack will demonstrate how to pastel paint using the techniques applied by masters such as Georgia O’Keeffe. Professional grade pastels and pastel paper will be provided.
