Did you know?… We’ve replaced our antiquated scanner with a new one that can scan photos and documents and has Optical Character Recognition (OCR), which means you can edit the documents you scan. And this great service is FREE! Instructions are provided next to the scanner or ask one of us for assistance. In addition to the classics and Newbery Award books for kids that we have available on our Kindle, we’ve added these popular titles for adults.
We’ve just received A Sailor’s Life for Me!: Old Ironsides Activity Book prepared by the USS Constitution Museum in Boston. This activity book lets your child explore life as a young sailor on board the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned warship still afloat in the world, “through vivid, detailed drawings, lively text, museum artifacts, hands-on activities, and online games.” The book, available for checkout now, is accompanied by the website www.asailorslifeforme.org.
And to go along with all this we have passes to the USS Constitution Museum that offer FREE admission for up to 9 people! |
