Sustainable Holiday Wrapping with Green Hanson

Saturday, December 2, 10:30am-12:00pm

Start the holiday season off sustainably with a wrapping event at the Library! Join Green Hanson for tips on how to be more sustainable this December, then create your own festive (and recyclable!) wrapping paper and gift bags to take home using paint, stamps, recycled items, and more.

This intergenerational program is open to all ages. The event is free, but please preregister.

Members of Green Hanson – Do you have any fabric, old maps, paint, stamps, dried flowers, buttons, yarn, large pieces of paper scraps, paper bags, pine cones, holly or other items you’d like to donate? We are collecting reusable and natural items for this event. We are looking for items that can be used to make fun and creative gift wrapping – all with items and objects that can be found lying around our homes and yards.

We will be collecting these items at the Hanson Public Library between November 20 and 30. Please drop them off inside the library during their open hours (do not leave outside or in the book drop). The library is open Monday and Friday from 9-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 12-8, and Wednesday and Saturday from 9-3. Thank you so much for your donations. If you have any questions, please contact Julia at jnee@hansonlibrary.org
