Channell Homestead’s petting zoo is back to kick off our 2025 summer reading program Level Up at Your Library and get you ready for a summer full of stories, adventures, and fun! Get up close with adorable barn animals like bunnies, chicks, and goats; enjoy an animal-themed craft; sign up to track your reading to be eligible for prizes; and register for some great summer programs.

Hanson residents must enter their library barcode number to sign up during the period open to Hanson residents only. Residents who do not know their barcode number may call the Library at 781-293-2151 or email info@hansonlibrary.org. Residents who do not have a library card may stop in any time the Library is open to sign up for one.
All members of a group that registers during the period open to Hanson residents only must be Hanson residents. Registrations submitted during the Hanson-only registration period that include one or more non-residents will be moved to the waiting list.
Preference will be given to Hanson residents when moving individuals/groups from the waiting list to the list of approved attendees.
