The Hanson Public Library welcomes and encourages members of the community to volunteer their time and talents to enrich and expand library services. The Library accepts volunteers through the Library Volunteer Program as well as the Senior Tax Abatement Program.

Senior Tax Abatement Program (STAP)

The Library is a volunteer site for the STAP program. Hanson senior citizens may apply to receive an abatement of property taxes once a specified number of volunteers hours are complete. For more information about this program please contact the Hanson Senior Center at 781-293-2683.
