Snow crystals

I know, not too many hot and humid days have descended upon us yet, but the bugs are multitudinous, and I am inclined to think fondly of snow. Maybe you are, too.

Cool down by taking a look at an amazing collection of snow crystals.

The Buffalo Museum of Science has made available online a digitized collection of the original glass slide photos of snow crystals done by the famous Wilson A. Bentley of Vermont.

The variety of shapes seems to be endless. The site also has links to other points of interest about snowflakes.
