Help raise funds to support library advocacy efforts nationwide by registering to vote or updating your voter registration information using the American Library Association’s Your Vote Matters Web site, www.yourvotematters.org/ala, which was created and customized by Working Assets. This online voter registration drive is part of the national “Register to Vote @ your library” program sponsored by the ALA and Working Assets.
Once the process is complete all you need to do is print out, sign, and mail in your registration form. To vote in the 2004 presidential election, Massachusetts residents must register to vote by October 13, 2004. The library recommends that voters registering on the Your Vote Matters Web site do so by September 15 in order to mail in the registration form by the deadline.
