Autumn outdoors

Today the Boston Globe South section featured an article about the Bay Circuit Trail.

If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s a 200 mile footpath around suburban Boston, extending thru 34 or more cities and towns, Hanson included.

First proposed in 1929, it’s been getting more attention lately as organizers have sought to connect existing footpaths in protected lands owned by state agencies, municipalities, conservation groups and others.

To find out more about it and where you can go for a walk anywhere between Kingston Bay and Newburyport on a beautiful autumn day, visit their site for historical information, maps, etc.
