The Baresel Family has kindly donated items for display in the library in memory of Robert and Shirley Baresel.
These items that you see pictured here are from 1944, during World War II; and include a Christmas card sent to Robert Baresel when he was in the service in Switzerland at age 21. The card is top center, and beneath it is a document with signatures of Hanson residents at the time, expressing appreciation for his service. On the left is a picture of Robert in uniform, and on the right, a plaque from the family.
