For the health and safety of the Hanson community and Hanson Public Library staff, as of Monday December 14th we are making the following service changes:
● Patrons will only be allowed into the building for brief browsing appointments.
● The lobby will be open for curbside pickup and the inner doors locked.
● Computers will not be available.
● Holds pickup, wireless printing, copying, and faxing services will be available in the lobby.

Wednesday 9:30am – 2:30pm
Thursday 12:30pm – 7:30pm
Friday 9:30am – 4:30pm
Saturday 9:30am – 2:30pm
Holiday Closing
Thursday December 24th: 9:00am-12:00pm
Friday December 25th: Closed
Thursday December 31st: 12:00pm-5:00pm
Friday January 1st: Closed
General Guidelines
● Entry will be by appointment only. Appointments will be 30 minutes. During each appointment a maximum of five people will be allowed in the library, with only one family allowed in the children’s room at a time.
● Do not enter if you are sick.
● All visitors must wear a face covering in the proper position while in the building.
● Maintain 6 feet of distance from other library users and staff.
● Please follow signs and floor markings.
● Please use the hand sanitizer that is provided.
● Please try to limit the items you touch while in the building.
● We strongly encourage only one family member per visit.
Library Services
● You will be able to browse the collection, checkout items, pick up holds, and sign up for a library card, and make use of our wireless printing, copying, and faxing services.
● No computers or seating will be available at this time.
● Newspapers will not be available.
● All library materials must be returned in the outdoor bookdrop so they can be properly quarantined. Do not bring them in with you.
