Show off your artistic talents and submit a masterpiece to the 10th Annual Hanson Public Library Art Show!
Artwork can be submitted to the Library between October 1st and October 31st, and will be on display for community judging from November 1st to 14th. Winners will be announced at our Open House on November 15th at 11:00 am. All participants are welcome at the ceremony. Those receiving an award will be contacted after 12:00pm on Friday, November 14th and encouraged to attend.
Art should be original and reflect an image inspired by a book or poem. All artwork must be 8.5 by 11 inches to fit in our display frames. You may use any materials including pencil, watercolor, colored pencils, pastel, acrylic, oil, or you can mix any of the materials together. The Library will frame all artwork when completed. There will be prize ribbons awarded for five categories: Child (Age 4-7), Youth (Age 8-11), Young Adult (Age 12-16), Adult (Age 17+), and Best in Show.
All participants must submit a registration form prior to or at the time of artwork delivery. Forms are available at the Library or by clicking the button below.
