The Hanson Library is celebrating Children’s Book Week with a book reading and music sing along featuring Shanti Wintergate (artist/musician who recently guest starred as a roller derby girl on CSI:NY) and Gregory Anttonito (lead singer of the rock band “Bouncing Souls”). The title of their book is I Went for a Walk.
Shanti and Greg have teamed up and written and illustrated this chapter/picture book for children of all ages. I Went for a Walk takes the reader to faraway places that are as real as can be and then to places that would only exist in the furthest reaches of the imagination of the reader. Its lasting message “Always look. Always question. Always listen to your heart. Always believe in yourself.” will inspire children and adults alike.
