February 2013 “NEXT CHAPTER” Grant Activities
Ancestry.com Library Edition
Ancestry.com Library Edition is now available at the Hanson Public Library. To access it you must use the Hanson Library computers and have a library card. Stop in and try it out. One-on-one Ancestry.com computer classes will be offered beginning on March 1.
Genealogy Workshops
Register now for one of the two genealogy workshops being offered this month. The workshop will consist of a presentation by Patty Norton from the Plymouth County Genealogists, Inc., offering her expertise on how to research your family history. This presentation will be followed by library staff’s introduction to the library’s Ancestry.com database, in addition to a review of the genealogical sites and books the library has available.
The workshop will be offered twice; once in the evening on
Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 7:00 pm
and will be repeated on
Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 am.
