Lawrence (Larry) Lindner, best-selling co-author of books ranging from memoirs to animal care to health topics, will be here to talk about Saving Baby: How One Woman’s Love For A Racehorse Led To Her Redemption. It’s the true story of Jo Anne Normile (the book’s co-author), an animal lover and former racehorse owner who was once enamored by the glamorous horseracing industry. After witnessing the dark truths behind the horseracing industry, Jo Anne became an activist for the humane treatment of ex-racehorses and founded the most successful horse rescue organization in the country. Saving Baby is an extraordinary, inspiring memoir.
