Meet Libby, the new app from OverDrive for reading ebooks and listening to audiobooks from our library. We’ll go over its features and demonstrate how easy it is to use the app. Drop-In Event


 Fundamentals of Drawing

When: Saturdays starting September 16- Oct. 14th

Time: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Cost: $30.00

Includes how to simplify the drawing process by simplifying objects down to basic shapes. Shading to create dimension and volume. Learning eye level perspective.

Drawing materials include paper, graphite pencil and charcoal pencils. The most important lesson is to have a FUN drawing experience.

Details: Network and share career searching tools and strategies with other job searchers. The groups meets monthly and is moderated by a librarian who specializes in careers and jobs searching. Drop-In Event.

Dish Garden

Time: 7:00pm

Presented by Vicki of Seoane’s Garden Center of Abington.
This class is designed for adults of all crafting levels.

  • Create your own indoor basket of live houseplants
  • Learn the essentials of houseplants –
    • How to transplant
    • Correct lighting
    • Proper watering
    • Trimming
    • Feeding
    •  Drainage
  • Cost of $25 per person
  • Class is limited to the first 25 paid registrants
  • Register at the library by Thursday, September 14th
  • Payment will be accepted at the library at the time of registration

September Book to Movie Discussion
