The Hanson Public Library will be closed Monday May 28, 2018 in observation of Memorial Day. The library will be open on Saturday May 26 and reopen Tuesday May 29 with its normal hours of operation.
Memorial Day is a United States Federal Holiday celebrated on the last Monday of May to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. On this day, we remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in military service for our country.

Hanson will be holding its annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday May 28th, 2018. The parade will form at 9:45 a.m. and begin at 10:00 at Indian Head School. The parade will make a brief stop at Hanson Town Hall, and then proceed to the Fern Hill Cemetery where it will conclude at approximately 11:30.
