16th Annual Hanson Public Library Open House

You are invited to attend the Sixteenth Annual Hanson Public Library Open House on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 9:30 am-2:30 pm. Stop by the Hanson Public Library Open House with your family and friends for a special library visit featuring:

  • Take and Make Crafts – Pick up a fun craft to make at home! There will be a sand art fall leaf craft for kids and a fall leaf bowl craft for teens and adults. One kit per person please. Kits will be available for pickup at the Open House while supplies last.
  • Grab and Go Snacks – Grab & Go Snacks, provided by the Library Foundation.
  • Sixth Annual Art Show – View art works submitted in the Library’s Annual Art Show. Art show winners will be announced at 10:00 am.
  • Holiday Gift Basket Shopping – Don’t miss the debut of the Library Foundation’s shopping fundraiser to benefit our Library. Do your holiday shopping by purchasing a themed gift basket. You’ll find wonderful baskets geared toward a wide variety of interests – sports, cooking, game night, Harry Potter, puzzles, graphic novels, spa essentials, Christmas gifts, and more! Don’t miss this opportunity for first access to shop and support your library.
  • 1000 Books Before Kindergarten – Parents, grandparents, families, and caregivers are invited to participate in the challenge of reading 1000 books to their infant or toddler before they enter kindergarten. Pick up your bag with all the materials needed to get started. This program is made possible by generous donations in memory of Tom Moore, a life-long library advocate, avid reader, teacher, and promoter of literacy.

This event is sponsored by the Hanson Public Library Foundation, Inc.
