Lizzie Borden and the Forty Whacks

Thursday, October 20, 6:30 PM (at Camp Kiwanee)

Lizzie Borden took an axe… or did she? You decide!

In August of 1892, Lizzie Borden’s father and stepmother were brutally murdered with an axe. Lizzie was accused, tried, and acquitted for the vicious murders. Join Lynne Moulton and Joseph Zamparelli of Delvena Theatre Company for a presentation of Lizzie’s story and the known facts about the crime. The performance concludes with a mock trial that invites the audience to participate by questioning Lizzie and voting on her guilt or innocence.
