We’re partnering with the Hanson Senior Center for a monthly movie matinee. Enjoy a recently released flick with free refreshments! Drop in program, registration not required. This month’s pick is: White Christmas. (Rated: NR, Runtime: 2 hours 40 minutes, including a 15 minute intermission).

This timeless holiday classic stars Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye as Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, a pair of merry veterans who become famous song-and-dance men after World War II. Soon, the duo joins forces with singing sisters Betty (Rosemary Clooney) and Judy Haynes (Vera-Ellen) to help save their former army general’s Vermont inn. The beloved Irving Berlin score includes “Blue Skies,” “Sisters,” “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” and the title track “White Christmas”.
