Silk Painting Workshop: The Magic of Colors and Flowers

Tuesday, July 9, 5:00pm

Do you want to explore your creative side? Do you want to experiment with colors without fear of making a mistake? Join this easy, magical, and relaxing adventure into the world of freedom and creativity, after which you will get a masterpiece created by your own hands. We aren’t going to learn how to paint or try complex techniques, but observe how the paint lives and reacts on the fabric, directing it wherever our imagination wants the paint to go. During this workshop, you will tap into your creativity! $5 materials fee/ All necessary materials will be provided. Open to Ages 12+ and adults!

There is a $5 materials fee due before the start of this class. We can accept cash or checks made out to the Hanson Public Library. Due to high demand, the materials fee for this program is due by 8pm on Tuesday, July 2. We will hold your spot in the class through Tuesday, July 2, but will move on to the waiting list if the materials fee is not received.

*While the Library primarily offers programs and activities that are free to all participants, we do sometimes charge a materials fee for programs in order to provide offerings that may fall beyond a standard budget. We are committed to being an accessible and equitable resource, and we seek to mitigate any barriers to our programming. If you’d like to participate in one of our programs and paying the materials fee would be a hardship, please contact the Library Director Karen Stolfer at or 781-293-2151 to discuss a fee waiver. Thank you.
