Delilah the Whale is coming to the library in celebration of Massachusetts Right Whale Day on April 24th! Join Whale & Dolphin Conservation to meet Delilah – a life-sized, inflatable North Atlantic right whale! WDC educators will introduce you to right whales, bring you on a journey inside the inflatable, and share real bones & other artifacts. Walk away with knowledge on their anatomy, critically endangered status, the threats they face, and what you can do to help them! Drop in anytime between 3:00 and 4:00 pm. This program will be held outside on the lawn behind the library adjacent to Maquan field and is weather-dependent. All ages welcome!
