The Beatles: 1964

Tuesday, October 1, 6:00pm

Join Stephen Minichiello, a Multi-Emmy Award Winning Producer/Writer and Director, for a presentation on the Beatles’ pivotal breakout year of 1964!

As a musical and cultural force, The Beatles rocked the 60’s establishment to its core. Art, music, fashion, morals – almost every aspect of society.  And four lads from Liverpool — John, Paul, George and Ringo — were as pivotal to these changes as any political or religious leader. John Lennon famously said, “We didn’t lead any revolution, we just reflected it”. Many would challenge that assertion.

The Beatles: 1964 will zoom into that critical year and explore how The Beatles went from the Ed Sullivan Show to world domination in a mere 10 months.

This program is sponsored by State Aid to Public Libraries.
